Big items travel as they are, smaller things go in boxes. Each card shows how that item is best sent on its way to us.
Your goods spend weeks at sea in a closed container. A little preparation before collection means they arrive clean, dry and in one piece.
Two things to check before you pack. Used fridges, used TVs and used computers are on Uganda’s prohibited goods list. There is an exception for personal use, but only once it is confirmed, and these items can be refused, so talk to us before you pack one for Uganda. Uganda also prohibits appliances that use CFC or HCFC refrigerants. And for Kenya and Tanzania, do not use plastic carrier bags to wrap or pack anything: both countries ban them.
It comes down to how much you are sending. We look at your list and tell you which works out better.

A fridge, a sofa and a dozen boxes do not need a container of their own. They share space with other customers’ cargo and you pay only for the room they take.

Yes. We arrange collection anywhere in Australia, or you can drop items at our depot in Canning Vale, Perth.
By sea, allow around 6–8 weeks door to door for Kenya, 6–9 weeks for Tanzania and 8–10 weeks for Uganda, counted from when the ship leaves Perth. Sea freight departs once a month, so allow for the wait until the next departure. Customs, port congestion and holidays can add time.
Not for Kenya or Tanzania. Both countries ban plastic carrier bags, so use blankets, cardboard, paper or cloth covers instead. If you are unsure about any wrapping, ask us.
List the furniture and appliances you are sending and where they are going. We will tell you shared or full container, the price and the next departure.
