Lodged with the Australian Border Force for shipments above the declaration threshold. Identifies cargo, value, exporter, destination, and HS classification.

Declares where the goods were made. Some African destinations require it for duty assessment or preferential treatment under trade agreements.

Filed at the destination port by our clearance partner. References the BL or AWB and the invoice values for duty calculation.

PIN (Kenya), TIN (Tanzania), or equivalent tax ID for the receiver. Cargo can't be released to a consignee that customs can't verify.

For cars: original title, age and emissions certificates per destination rules. For controlled items: import permits secured before sailing.

  • Consignee details Receiver's full name, address, phone, email, and tax ID (PIN, TIN) where the destination requires one.
  • Sender identification Your name, address, and contact — for the export declaration and as the named exporter on the BL or AWB.
  • Specific item paperwork If you're shipping a vehicle, a title or rego document. If you're shipping a controlled item, the receiver-side import permit.
  • A reply by phone or email If customs raises a query mid-clearance, we may need a yes or no from you the same day. That's the limit of the chasing.
